Hours Scaled Back At Centennial Beach, Splash Pads As School Starts
See the new hours that are in effect at some parks throughout Naperville in the waning days of summer.
NAPERVILLE, IL — As school resumes and the summer starts to wind down, limited hours will be in effect at Centennial Beach, splash pads and other Naperville Park District venues.
The hours at Centennial Beach for the remainder of the 2023 season are as follows:
- Aug. 17: Closed
- Aug. 18: Open swim from 4 pm. to 7 p.m.
- Aug. 19: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; open swim from 11 a.m. to dusk
- Aug. 20: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; open swim from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Aug. 22 and Aug. 22: Open swim from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Aug. 23 - Aug. 25: Closed
- Aug. 26: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; open swim from 11 a.m. to dusk
- Aug. 27: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; open swim from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Aug. 28 - Sept. 1: Closed
- Sept. 2: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; open swim from 11 a.m. to dusk
- Sept. 3: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; open swim from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sept. 4: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; open swim from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Splash Pads

The splash pads at 95th Street Community Plaza and Wolf's Crossing Community Park will remain open daily from 9 a.m. to sunset through September, on days when temperatures get up to 70 degrees.
Paddleboat Quarry

After Aug. 24, the Paddleboat Quarry will only be open on the weekends until the end of September, though the quarry's hours will be contingent on weather.
Millennium Carillon
Visitors will be able to tour Millennium Carillon Fridays through Sundays until Aug. 25, when the tours will be available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the end of fall, if staff is available.
