Jesse Jackson Plans Visit To Naperville After Alleged Hate Crime
The visit comes after a racist incident was reported at Buffalo Wild Wings and a Naperville Central student was charged with a hate crime.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Reverend Jesse Jackson may soon be making a stop in Naperville. Jackson plans to visit Naperville Community Unit School District 203 after a student at the school was charged with a hate crime after allegedly posting a Craigslist ad with a photo of a black student that read "slave for sale," Chicago Tribune reports.
Jackson's visit, tentatively planned for early December, also comes after a multi-racial group posted that they were told to move tables at Buffalo Wild Wings on Oct. 26 because of another guest at the restaurant who employees said was "racist." Jackson has been working with two of the customers who were impacted by the incident to motivate Buffalo Wild Wings to implement a zero-tolerance policy for racism.
At a recent leadership forum in Wheaton, Jackson tackled the racist incidents in Naperville. He said, "What happened here is a wake-up call to seize the moment."
