Before joining Grunyk & Associates, P.C. Galanes worked at a family law firm in downtown Chicago. There, she gained extensive experience in the areas of divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, maintenance, asset valuation and allocation, and post-decree issues including college contribution and modifications of support.
Katie’s interest in and passion for family law began as a law student, when she was a judicial intern in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Honorable Judge Mark Lopez.
