The calendar features canines of all shapes and sizes, and information on the Forest Preserve's dog parks. Best of all, calendar proceeds benefit the Will County Humane Society, the oldest no-kill shelter in the county. The humane society has been providing care for stray animals for more than 40 years. The not-for-profit shelter receives no federal or local government funding
and relies entirely on donations.

The calendar also contains fun facts and anecdotes about all of the pups chosen for each month's main photo.
