Learn Life-Saving Pet CPR At Special Class In Naperville
The class will teach CPR that could help save a pet's life in an emergency.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Fire Department will host a pet CPR class on March 17 to teach resident's how they can potentially save their four-legged friend's life. The class comes after a video recently went viral of a puppy choking on food in Massachusetts. Luckily, the pup was rescued by emergency responders, but the video made many pet owners wonder how they would handle such a crisis.
The five-hour class will teach pet CPR techniques and give pet owners tips about healthcare and first aid for both cats and dogs.
Once the class is completed, participants will get a wallet card and certificate saying they are trained in pet CPR. The class also includes a 40-page PetSaver handbook for each student to take home for quick reference when pet health issues arise.
