Linden Oaks “Music and the Mind” gala set for May 19

Linden Oaks Behavioral Health will host “Music and the Mind” on Friday, May 19 at the Marriott Naperville, 1801 N. Naper Blvd. The event is designed to bring attention and resources to mental health awareness and treatment.

“Music and the Mind” will feature a musical performance by Richard Kogan, MD, master pianist and distinguished psychiatrist, as he performs a lecture and recital devoted to the music and mind of Leonard Bernstein.

The event will feature cocktails from 5-6 p.m., dinner from 6-6:45 p.m. and Dr. Kogan’s performance from 6:45-8:15 p.m.

Tickets, which are $150 (through April 7 – $175 after), include an opportunity to mingle with guests and Dr. Kogan after the show.

Proceeds from “Music and the Mind” will fund programs, services and capital needs for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses and substance abuse through Linden Oaks, a provider of complex services for severe mood, personality, eating, anxiety and addictive disorders.
