Local Educators Host Fundraiser to Support Mindfulness in Schools

Educators are coming from 16 states and 3 countries for the inaugural Educating Mindfully Conference Feb 28-Mar 2. It is at Pheasant Run Resort in St Charles.

On Thursday, Feb 28, they are inviting the community to an amazing documentary being screened about mindfulness in education. The filmmakers are flying in from France to get footage of our conference for their next project.

Bring tweens/teens or make it a date night. There will be a cash bar.

Mindful Schools’ Mindful Room Exhibition will be open all evening.

6-7 Attendees check-in and get 3 raffle tickets; they'll visit the Expo tables and put their tickets in gift bags of their choice. $10K+ in mindfulness-related give-aways.
7-8:45 We will screen the film May I Be Happy and meet filmmakers. During this time, we will pick a winner from each gift bag and tape the winning ticket to the gift bag so that after the film, attendees can visit the tables again and see if they won.
8:45-9:30 Attendees mingle, network and visit with filmmakers, Expo tables and Mindful Schools Mindful Room. Winners receive their items or certificates for online-based winnings.
