Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel donates bicycles to Edward Foundation

The donation to the Edward Foundation supports Edward Hospital's Child Life Program and the Foundation's 2023 BIG GIG Gala charity auction.

The leaders of Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel came together in January for a team-building activity, a tradition after each meeting to unite the group while giving back to the community. This time, the group’s project was to assemble children’s bicycles and tricycles. Once assembled, three bicycles and two tricycles were donated to Edward Foundation to support Edward Hospital’s Child Life Program and the Foundation’s 2023 BIG GIG Gala charity auction.

Loews Chicago, a distinct hotel focusing on hospitality, promises to be a driving positive force in the community by establishing a variety of programs and initiatives that are focused on everything from safeguarding our planet to fostering a more inclusive world. Known as the Good Neighbor Program, Loews Chicago leads the industry by actively supporting local charities and making a difference in the community.

The Edward Foundation Child Life Program was established at Edward Hospital more than 10 years ago to support hospitalized children and their families. The goal is to help children and parents cope successfully as they navigate the hospital environment. The program relies on support from the community through monetary contributions, and toy and book donations.
