NAPERVILLE, IL — A Carbondale man has been accused of shattering a glass door and entering a home in Naperville Wednesday evening. Kurtis Clausen has been charged with criminal damage to property and residential burglary in connection with the incident.

Police say homeowners in the 1100 block of Shamrock Court who were not home at the time called around 5:15 p.m. to report that they saw a suspicious car in their driveway and received notifications that their burglar alarm had gone off. When police got to the scene, they noticed the glass on the home's back door was broken. Officers say Clausen came out of the home when prompted by police.
