Man Robbed While In His Car In Naperville
Police say two suspects got into the car and one grabbed the man and demanded his cellphone.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are investigating a robbery that took place in the 200 block of East Bailey Road early Saturday morning. According to police, a man had arranged to meet a friend, but he was robbed by two strangers who got into the car and demanded his belongings.
The man told police he had arranged to meet a friend on Snapchat in a parking lot. When he got to the parking lot, police say two men, one of whom was wearing a mask, got into his car.
One of the robbers grabbed the man from behind and demanded his cellphone, police say. After taking the phone, the robbers got into a dark-colored sedan and headed south on Coach Drive.

Police say no weapon was seen or implied, and the man was not injured. Naperville police say they believe this was an isolated incident.
