Man Unhappy with Prostitute's Performance Beaten by Her Friends

A man who wasn’t happy with the performance of a prostitute he found on backpage.com was beaten up by two men who heard the scuffle between him and the alleged prostitute.

Marven A. Brown, 32, allegedly tried to steal the prostitute’s phone after he was left unsatisfied. The tussle between the two brought forth two friends of the prostitute who beat Brown and sent him to the hospital, according to the Chicago Tribune. The two friends were “in the area by coincidence.”

The incident occurred inside a hotel in the 1800 block of Centre Point Circle in Naperville.

Brown, of the 500 block of Harrison Street in Oak Park, was charged with solicitation of a sexual act and theft.

The alleged prostitute, Ashlyn E. Hauser, 18, was charged with prostitution.

The friends, Terrance D. Curtis, 39, of Glen Ellyn, and Fredrick M. Hall, of Villa Park, were both charged with two misdemeanor counts of battery. Curtis was also charged with criminal damage to property for damaging Brown’s cell phone.
