Meijer To Offer Store-To-Door Delivery In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Meijer will begin offering home delivery to more than 2.5 million households throughout Chicagoland starting July 13. Customers will be able to have orders delivered right to their door through Shipt, Meijer's home delivery partner. The Chicago launch will make home delivery available to more than 200 ZIP codes in Aurora, Algonquin, Bolingbrook, Bloomingdale, Crystal Lake, Elgin, Flossmoor, Hoffman Estates, Naperville, Joliet, Mokena, Orland Park, Oswego, Rolling Meadows, Round Lake Beach, St. Charles, Wheaton and Tinley Park.

Customers will be able to place orders from their computers, tablets or the Shipt smartphone app — but first, they'll have to buy a Shipt membership at a cost of $99 per year. Free delivery is available for orders of $35 or more. There is a $7 delivery fee for orders under $35.

To celebrate the launch of Meijer home delivery in Chicagoland, Shipt is offering $25 off the first order to annual members who sign up prior to launch. For more information or to sign up, customers can visit Shipt.com/Meijer.

The home delivery service launched in Detroit last September and is now expanding across six states, Meijer said. So far, Shipt has made more than 250,000 home deliveries.
