Motorcyclist Injured In Crash In Aurora

A Warrenville woman was cited with failure to yield for allegedly turning in front of the motorcycle.

AURORA, IL — A motorcyclist from Naperville was injured in a crash that took place Sunday. Police say the collision happened around 6 p.m. in the 300 block of W. Indian Tr., according to Chicago Tribune.

Matthew Thompson, of Naperville, was taken to an Aurora Hospital after the crash.

A Warrenville woman has been accused of turning left in front of Thompson's motorcycle. Police charged Hollie Williamson with failure to yield, driving without insurance, and driving on a suspended license in connection with the crash.

Chicago Tribune reports that Williamson told police she checked for oncoming traffic before she made the left turn and that it had appeared to be clear.

At press time, no information was available about Thompson's condition following the motorcycle crash.
