Municipal Center To Reopen To Community June 1

The Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St., will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 1. General hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The building is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors are asked to enter the building through the doors adjacent to the upper-level parking deck near the fountain, to wear a face covering and to use available hand sanitizer stations during their visit. Visitors will check-in at a desk near the doors, where they will provide their name and purpose for their visit and have their temperature taken. Visitors who have a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher after one opportunity for retesting will be asked to conduct their business remotely.
The public may visit the Transportation, Engineering and Development (TED) permit counter, the Finance Department or the City Clerk’s office. Other departments are available by advance appointment only. Meeting rooms are not available to the public at this time.

Community members are encouraged to do business with the City online to the greatest extent possible while the COVID-19 pandemic continues. To keep the community and City staff safe, visits to the Municipal Center should be reserved for business that must be done in person. Hours for City departments are as follows: Finance Department, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday. City Clerk's Office: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Building Permit Counter: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed 1 to 2 p.m. daily).
