Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings Plans Naperville Opening

The chain's first location in New York is a multi-year Michelin-recommended restaurant.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings, a New York-based restaurant whose original location was Michelin-recommended for nine years in a row, will bring its gourmet dumplings, all-day breakfast, stir fries and noodle dishes to Block 59 in Naperville.

The menu at Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings offers a variety of boiled, steamed and pan-fried dumplings and buns. Some chef recommendations include boiled shrimp, pork and chive dumplings, pan-fried pork/crabmeat buns and steamed vegetable dumplings.

The extensive selection of all-day breakfast ranges from scallion pancakes with sliced beef to Shanghai siu mai and savory tofu pudding. Cold dishes include jelly fish with turnips, spicy bamboo shoots and black wood ear mushrooms.

Other entrees include stir-fried rice cakes with shredded chicken, pork or vegetables, scallion oil noodles and vegetable noodle soup.

Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings' dessert selection features red bean puffs, pumpkin cake fritters, black sesame custard bao and other sweets.

Nan Xiang Soup Dumpling has locations in New York, California, New England, Georgia and the Midwest. They opened their first Illinois location in Chicago's River North neighborhood in late August.
