Victim Robbed During Online Sale Transaction: Naperville Police

The armed robbery began as a transaction arranged via social media to facilitate a sale.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- An armed robbery on Tuesday night was amid a prearranged meeting, made via social media to facilitate a sale, police said. This means it was a targeted incident, not a random one.

Two men in their early 20's met the victim in the 1500 block of north Naper Boulevard, where they brandished a handgun and took the victim's cell phone, car keys, concert tickets and an undisclosed amount of currency.
