Naperville To Commemorate September 11 With Remembrance Ceremony

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents are invited to attend this year's September 11 Remembrance Ceremony at Cmdr. Dan Shanower Memorial in Naperville. The ceremony will pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and subsequent war.

The event will begin at 5:45 p.m. with a performance by the Naperville Municipal Band. Members of the city's police and fire departments will also be on hand.

Naperville city officials and representatives from local organizations are expected to speak at the ceremony.
