Naperville Coronavirus Update: 4 Percent Increase In Past Week
To date, there have been 1,296 confirmed coronavirus cases in Naperville, according to DuPage County Health Department.
NAPERVILLE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Naperville has increased by 4 percent in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). The increase is slightly less than the previous week, which showed a 5 percent increase.
As of Sept. 23, the city had reported 1,251 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 1,296 as of Sept. 30.

To date, there have been a total of 39 coronavirus-related deaths in the city, DCHD reports. According to the DCHD website, there was one active coronavirus cases in Naperville as of Sept. 30.
In nearby Lisle, the number of coronavirus cases had also increased by 4 percent. As of Sept. 23, there had been 303 cases reported in Lisle. The total number of cases reported in Lisle as of Sept. 30 was 315.

There were no active coronavirus cases in Lisle as of Sept. 30. To date, Lisle has had eight confirmed coronavirus-related deaths, according to DCHD.
