Naperville Cyclist Forced to Give Up World Record Goal
The Handlebars business owner still plans to ride to raise money for several organizations.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville athlete and Handlebars business owner trying to break a world record for longest static cycling has been forced to give up his goal.
In a video posted on his business’s Facebook page, Kevin Millar said that due to the lack of witnesses around the clock, they are unable to obtain the title.
But that doesn’t mean Millar will stop trying to raise money for his 14 charities.

“It was never truly about the world record. It was about not settling, not accepting, not being OK with these problems that these 14 charities face each day,” Millar said in the video.
Millar still plans to ride his bike, but he’ll get a little bit more time to sleep and rest. According to the Chicago Tribune, Millar will begin cycling at 5:30 a.m. and go until 10 p.m. He then gets to go home and sleep in his own bed before starting it all again the next day.
