Naperville Golf Courses See 4 Holes-in-One Over Past Month
The golfers hail from Naperville and La Grange Park.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Over the past month four people at the Naperville Park District's Springbrook and Naperbrook golf courses have hit a hole-in-one since May 20.
The golfers are Ted Fitch, of La Grange Park, Kenny Ko, of Naperville, Scott Sheridan, of Naperville and Brian Trout, of Naperville, according to the Chicago Tribune.

“All three are par-three holes, ranging in distance between 134 and 175 yards. For non-golfers, par three means the golfer should be able to move the ball from the tee-off point and into the hole in three strokes,” the article said.
Springbrook golf professional Mike Lyzun told the paper that it’s not unusual for a few holes-in-one by this time of the year.

"The fact is, the more you play and the better you hone your skills, the more likely a hole-in-one is going to happen," Lyzun said in the article. "But the bottom line is that it's still luck."
