Naperville Grandma Shot While Walking With Granddaughter In Chicago

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville grandmother was shot in the upper leg as she walked with her daughter and granddaughter in Chicago Thursday afternoon. The woman, 72, and her daughter, were walking the granddaughter in a stroller along the 3100 block of North Broadway when the incident occurred, according to Chicago Tribune.
Police say the trio were walking on the sidewalk just after 1:30 p.m. when the woman's daughter heard a loud noise and saw the woman fall. The woman sustained a gunshot to her left leg and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in good condition.
