Naperville Man Found Guilty of Threatening to Cut Up Woman, Burn Down Bar

The 38 year old received 10 days in the Sheriff's Work Alternative Program and was given six months of probation.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man who threatened to burn down a bar and hack a woman into pieces was found guilty Thursday of attempted disorderly conduct/breach of peace and battery, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Nicholas A. Danos, 38, of the 800 block of Santa Maria Drive, was at Pepe’s/La Cantina in January 2010 when he threatened to hack a woman into pieces and then threw insults at her. He also insulted the restaurant’s manager and claimed he would burn it down, according to the report.

Danos received 10 days in the Sheriff’s Work Alternative Program and was given six months of probation. He was also ordered to pay fines and costs of $510.
