See what's in store for Memorial Day in Naperville.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville has a host of activities planned to celebrate Memorial Day weekend, including the 2019 Memorial Day Parade on Monday. In honor of Memorial Day, the graves of more than 2,000 veterans will also be decorated with small American flags and multiple memorial services and ceremonies are planned.

Flag-Raising and Memorial Services

7:45 a.m.: Flag-raising ceremony at City Hall

8:15 a.m.: Service at Veteran's Park

8:35 a.m.: Service at Burlington Square

9 a.m.: Service at S. S. Peter and Paul

9:45 a.m.: Service at G.A.R. Monument

2019 Memorial Day Parade

The 2019 Memorial Day Parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. from the intersection of Jackson and West Streets and make its way east to Washington Street.

At Washington, marchers will turn northward and cruise toward Benton, where they will turn to head east t the S.S. Peter and Paul parking lot.

Memorial Day Ceremony

After the parade, visit Blackhawk/Silver Star Memorials for a special Memorial Day ceremony at 12:15 a.m. honoring veterans and those who lost their lives in combat.
