Naperville Motorcyclist Dies in I-55 Traffic Crash

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Naperville man was killed Thursday after his motorcycle crashed into the back of an SUV.

At 1:30 p.m., Brian Readus, 45, was traveling northbound on I-55 south of Route 53 in Bolingbrook when he crashed into the back of the SUV, according to the Illinois State Police.

Readus was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver and passenger in the SUV were uninjured.

The crash shut down the center and right lanes of northbound I-55 Thursday afternoon. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
