Naperville Oktoberfest To Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary

This year's Oktoberfest will feature the largest draft selection in the fest's 10-year history.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Get your lederhosen ready; it's almost time for Oktoberfest in Naperville. This year marks Naper Settlement's 10th Annual Oktoberfest, which promises to be a two-day weekend filled stein-holding contests, professional pumpkin carving, and the fest's largest selection of draft brews to date.

"We’re setting the stage for a grand weekend of entertainment featuring German music, food, and beer as well as classic rock and activities for both kids and adults alike. There’s something for everyone throughout the entire weekend," Adison Glick, who handles events for Naper Settlement, said in a news release.

The fest will embrace German tradition with live polka music, bratwurst and other authentic eats, and, of course, German beer. In addition to traditional German tunes from the Polkaholics and other bands, festival goers can enjoy rock music from Wedding Banned and other entertainers.
