Naperville Park District to Host 3 Spring Egg Hunts April 2-4

Kids ages 1-13 invited to join the fun

Whether we see snow on the ground or flowers blooming, the Naperville Park District will offer three unique egg hunts next week for Naperville area families to enjoy: Flashlight Egg Hunt for kids ages 9-13, Spring Egg-stravaganza for preschoolers, and the long-running Jaycees’ Egg Hunt for kids ages 1-8.

The Flashlight Egg Hunt, held on Thursday, April 2 at 7:15 p.m. at Knoch Knolls Park, challenges kids to find prize-filled eggs in the dark, with the aid of a flashlight, of course. The fee is $10 per child for residents and $14 per child for nonresidents. Knoch Knolls Park is located at 336 Knoch Knolls Road in Naperville.

The Spring Egg-stravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 4 at Seager Park Interpretive Center, located at 1163 Plank Road. Two identical sessions are offered at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. The event includes games, stories, crafts and snacks in addition to the egg hunt. The fee is $11 per child for residents and $17 for nonresidents.

The Naperville Jaycees’ Egg Hunt at Frontier Sports Complex, located behind Neuqua Valley High School at 3380 Cedar Glade Drive, begins at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Saturday, April 4, and is a free event with no registration required. The eggs disappear quickly, so parents are encouraged to arrive early. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet everyone. The Jaycees will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items at the event. No glass containers, please.
