Naperville Park District To Keep Playgrounds Closed 'Until Further Notice'

Earlier today, a few Illinois park districts posted to social media that their playgrounds would open immediately due to a change in position communicated by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding the use of playgrounds during COVID-19. However, playground use is not allowed for in Phase 3 of the Governor’s Restore Illinois Plan.

As a result, the Naperville Park District’s playgrounds will remain closed until further notice and the Park District will continue to follow the Phase 3 guidelines.
