The Naperville Park District opened Fort Hill Activity Center five years ago as the community’s first large indoor recreation space and a center for healthy physical activity year round for all ages and abilities. To celebrate Fort Hill Activity Center’s fifth anniversary, the Park District invites the community to a free special event with activities and refreshments for the whole family.

The Fifth Anniversary Community Celebration will take place from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 21 at Fort Hill Activity Center, located at 20 Fort Hill Drive. Attendees can sample fitness classes, view program demonstrations, enjoy refreshments and enter raffle drawings for prizes including a 6-month and 12-month Fort Hill Fitness membership and a variety of gifts from local sponsors. Guests also will have the opportunity to receive a free commemorative t-shirt for participating in a 5-year celebration challenge; giveaways and samples available only while supplies last.

Fort Hill Activity Center has become a favorite destination for fitness and for community activities for all ages. The nearly 84,000 square foot facility includes an indoor walking/running track, a fitness center, gymnasium with basketball, volleyball, and pickleball/badminton courts, a dedicated gymnastics area, group exercise studios, multi-purpose rooms, childcare area, and an indoor playground. The facility has enabled the Park District to offer new basketball and gymnastics programs for kids, a variety of sports and programmed activities for adults, and state-of-the-art fitness space available via membership.
