Naperville Police Make Arrest In Recent Car Burglaries

Naperville Police arrested a 19-year-old man from Waukegan on June 15, 2020 in connection with a car burglary that occurred in May.

Naperville Police were called to the 0-100 block of East 14th Street on the north side of Naperville on May 27, 2020 for a report that someone had entered two (2) unlocked vehicles in a driveway. Through evidence left at the scene, a suspect was identified. On June 15, 2020, the suspect, Hayden Sanders, 19, of Waukegan, was taken into custody and charged with two (2) felony counts of burglary and one (1) count of resisting a peace officer. Sanders was then transported to the DuPage County Jail.

Naperville Police detectives are investigating along with the DuPage County States Attorney’s Office to determine whether this subject is involved in numerous other burglaries in the northern part of Naperville.
