1 of 2 Robbers Apprehended in Naperville
The other robber is currently at large and police are asking residents to report any suspicious subjects.

The Naperville Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at around 8 a.m. Monday, August 10, according to a release from the department.
Police responded to the intersection of Bailey and Shepherd for a report of a robbery where an unknown amount of money was taken by two men. The men then fled in a small, black vehicle which was seen a short time later at the intersection of Aurora and Thornapple by a Naperville police officer. When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle the two men abandoned it and fled on foot in different directions. The vehicle is now in police custody.
Officers established a perimeter and one man was apprehended. The other man remains at large. He is described as being white, tall, thin and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Police do not believe him to be armed as no weapon was displayed during the robbery, but they ask residents to be cautious and report any suspicious subjects.

The Naperville Police Department also stated that the suspects did not escape police custody.
The identity of the suspect in custody will be released when formal charges have been filed. Anyone with information is requested to call the Naperville Police Department at 630 420-6147.
