Naperville Police Searching for Bank Robber

The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money, police said.

Naperville police are searching for a man who robbed a Fifth Third Bank on Saturday morning.

Police responded to the bank, 1311 Ridgeland Ave., at around 10:10 a.m. after a man handed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller complied, and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The FBI described the suspect as a 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 black male wearing a a light gray hooded sweatshirt, the Naperville Sun reported.

No one was hurt in the incident, police said. Lisle and Naperville police searched the area following the robbery but were unable to locate the suspect.
