Naperville Police To Serve Lunch To Benefit Special Olympics

Guests can make a donation to get a free lunch served by some of Naperville's finest.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Police will take a break from their duties serving and protecting to serve up eats and give back to the community at a lunch to benefit Special Olympics Illinois and the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The event, hosted by Texas Roadhouse, will take place on July 27, and diners can get a free lunch just by leaving a donation at their table.

The free lunch includes an entree of a pulled pork sandwich, corn and cole slaw, freshly baked bread (with honey cinnamon butter), and a non-alcoholic drink. Diners will recognize some of familiar local law enforcement faces bringing meals and serving up drinks.

At the end of the meal, leave a "tip" donation behind; 100% of proceeds go to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.
