'Emergency Situation' In Naperville Resolved: Police
Residents on Bluewater Circle were given the all-clear after being told to seek shelter early Wednesday.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Police have given Naperville residents the all-clear to leave their homes after an "emergency situation" brought a heavy police presence to the 2800 block of Bluewater Circle Wednesday morning. One person is in custody after a SWAT team responded to the incident, according to ABC 7.
An alert sent around 6:30 a.m. initially urged residents to stay inside their homes. At 9:24 a.m., police said the situation had been "resolved," and residents were told they were "no longer being asked to shelter in place."
ABC added that a man was seen coming out of the home with his hands over his head.
