Naperville Restaurant Week: Where To Eat, What To Try

Naperville Restaurant Week runs Jan. 26 through Feb. 8.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville's 5th Annual Restaurant Week kicks off Friday, with more than 40 restaurants offering special menus and daily discounts for diners to enjoy. If you're really ambitious, you might be able to hit up all 44 restaurants before Restaurant Week ends on Feb. 8. If not, you can use this article to plan your eating strategy ahead of time!

Here are just some of the mouthwatering specials that are being offered during Naperville Restaurant Week 2018:

Shinto Japanese Steak House

Shinto has whipped up a three-course prix fixe dinner that they're offering for just $29 during restaurant week. The selection includes king crab rangoon, hibachi steak, shrimp, or chicken, and cookie tempura topped with ice cream.

Hugo's Frog Bar and Fish House

For just $44, seafood can indulge in a prix fixe dinner at Hugo's Frog Bar and Fish House. Start your meal with baked goat cheese or tempura firecracker shrimp and then move on to pan-roasted scallops or a 6 oz. filet paired with Alaskan king crab meat. Hugo's will also offer other fresh seafood specials that rotate daily.

Macarena Tapas

For the entirety of Naperville Restaurant Week, Macarena Tapas is offering 20% off your entire bill. Head in Tuesdays for half-off margaritas and Thursdays for half-off margs, sangria, and mojitos.

Fogo de Chao

Fogo de Chao will serve up a delicious prix fixe lunch for $28. Meat lovers can rejoice in their selection of main courses, which are sliced tableside to your preference. Choose from seasoned top sirloin, leg of lamb, parmesan-encrusted pork loin, and more. Prix fixe dinner is also available for $35.

Cuisine of India

During restaurant week, Cuisine of India gives you access to its lunch buffet for just $12.99 per person. The buffet is chockfull of traditional Indian delights that include goat curry, Indo-Chinese style fish, and tandoori chicken cooked in searing temperatures in a special clay oven. Vegetarians can indulge in samosa, vegetable fritters, and four different entrees. For dessert, make sure to try the gulab jamun. These sugar-soaked balls of fried dough are impossible to pass up.
