Naperville Restaurants Raise Over $13K To Aid Ukrainian Refugees
More than a dozen restaurants joined forces to raise funds for World Relief Kitchen, which has been feeding refugees in war-torn Ukraine.

NAPERVILLE, IL — More than a dozen downtown Naperville restaurants recently joined forces to raise more than $13,000 to help World Relief Kitchen provide meals to refugees in war-torn Ukraine.
The following restaurants raised a total of $13,759, by dedicating a portion of their sales to the effort:
- Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream
- Bev's
- Catch 35
- Cinnaholic
- Empire Burgers and Brew
- Firecakes Donuts
- Hizemans
- Naper Nuts and Sweets
- Quiubo
- Santo Cielo
- Sixty-Four Wine Bar and Kitchen
- Sweet Home Gelato
- The Lantern
“We’re proud that so many local chefs and diners stepped up to help this vital effort,” Deborah Newman, marketing representative for Water Street, said in a news release.

She added, “While the idea came from Water Street restauranteurs, it’s clear that downtown Naperville businesses, the Downtown Naperville Alliance and the community were united in this humanitarian effort. It’s gratifying to see how this community rallies together in times of need.”
