Naperville Schools Expected to Reopen Friday

Naperville schools are expected to reopen Friday but local school officials will continue to monitor weather conditions overnight.

School officials with Indian Prairie School District 204 and Naperville Community Unit School District 203 said that as of Thursday evening all schools are scheduled to reopen. 

“Every weather warning and advisory that has been issued by the National Weather Service is scheduled to expire and conditions are expected to be safe for travel to school,” according to an update posted Thursday evening on the District 203 website.

If weather conditions change, District 203 will announce any changes by 5:45 a.m. Friday on its website. District 204 also expected to announce any changes on its website by 5:45 a.m.
