Naperville Voter Guide: 2022 Primary Election

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Election Day is almost here. Early voting in the June 28 General Primary Election started Monday in Downers Grove.

Through June 25, residents can vote early at temporary early voting sites throughout DuPage and Will Counties.

Voting hours at DuPage County's temporary sites are 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. An additional nine permanent early voting sites will be open through June 27 in DuPage County. These sites are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

In Naperville, early voting is available at:

• 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Rd.
• Islamic Center of Naperville, 25W530 75th St.
• Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.

Illinois's 6th Congressional District

Incumbent Rep. Sean Casten (IL-D) is vying to keep is seat representing Illinois's 6th Congressional District. Casten is being challenged by Rep. Marie Newman (IL-D), who currently represents Illinois's 3rd Congressional District. Charles Hughes is also facing off against Casten in the June 28 primary.

The following Republicans are hoping to snag the 6th District seat:

• Catherine A. O'Shea
• Keith Pekau

Illinois's 11th Congressional District

Rep. Bill Foster (IL-D) is defending his seat in Illinois's 11th Congressional District. No Democratic candidates are challenging Foster in this election.

The following Republicans are vying for the 11th District seat:

• Mark Carroll
• Jerry Evans
• Susan Hathaway-Altman
• Andrea Heeg
• Catalina Lauf
• Cassandra Tanner Miller

Illinois's 14th Congressional District

Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL) is defending her seat in Illinois's 14th Congressional District. Underwood faces challenges from Independent Barry Wilson and several Republicans, but it not being challenged by any Democratic candidates in this election.

The following Republican candidates are hoping to face off against Underwood:
