Naperville's Smile Obsession Dental Adds Maplebrook Dental

NAPERVILLE, IL —Smile Obsession Dental announced Thursday what it called an "acquisition and merger" with Naperville's Maplebrook Dental. Patients of Maplebrook Dental now will be be seen at Smile Obsessions' 5th Avenue Station office, the dental practice said.

In a release, Smile Obsession Dental, which opened its Naperville office at 300 E 5th Ave. Suite 400 in July, said it would welcome Dr. Shehbez Shareef, the dental team and the patients from Maplebrook Dental, which was located at 363 E Bailey Rd.

Shareef said the move will offer the Maplebrook practice much needed space, give the dental team access to advanced dental services and provide patients with the "best dental experience."

"We are very excited to announce that we have merged with a leading five-star dental office in Downtown Naperville called Smile Obsession Dental, near the 5th Avenue Train Station," Shareef said. "We have been searching for a new home for Maplebrook Dental as we have outgrown our space here on Bailey Rd."

Shareef said the move also would give the Maplebrook team a dedicated Smile Obsession team to assist with office operations, information technology, human resources and payor relations.

According to Maplebrook Dental, its office phone number will remain the same, though visitors to its website will be directed to the Smile Obsession website.

Maplebrook patients can expect the new location to be in network with all the dental PPO insurance plans. They'll also have the ability to book appointments online, a spokesperson for Maplebrook Dental said.

According to Smile Obsession, which also has locations in Wheaton and Glenview, the company provides a "new kind of patient experience," with the feel "more like a local spa than a medical facility." The company has a team made up of general dentists and dental specialists.
