New Deputy Superintendent Chosen For District 204

NAPERVILLE, IL — A new deputy superintendent has been chosen for Indian Prairie School District 204. Dr. Louis Lee, who currently serves as District 204's Superintendent of Human Resources, will begin his new role July 1.

Lee came to District 204 in 2014 as the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, High Schools. Prior to that role, Lee served as a principal at Oswego High School and Granger Middle School. He also served as associate principal at Lincoln-Way East High School.

In addition to his administrative work at local schools, Lee has also been a science teacher at Waukegan School District 60 and an adjunct professor at Lewis University. He also earned his , a masters degree in education and doctorate in educational leadership from Lewis.

"Dr. Lee is an exemplary educational leader who demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with people," District 204 Superintendent Dr. Adrian B. Talley said in a statement. "He demonstrates the ability to listen to multiple perspectives and effectively collaborate in the mission of education for all students."

Lee will take up the mantle from Doug Eccarius, who is leaving his role to become superintendent of District 89 in Glen Ellyn.
