New Naperville Pizza Place Giving Away Free Pizza Today

Carryout customers can get a free small, cheese pizza until 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 30.

A new Naperville pizza place is celebrating its grand opening by giving away free small, cheese pizzas to its carryout customers all day, Wednesday, March 30. No other purchase is necessary.

Sanfratello’s Pizza is located at 1299 S. Naper Blvd. The store is open until 9 p.m. tonight.

"Sanfratello's is the only pizzeria that still uses the original South Side combination of Scamorza cheese, Chicago meats and a scratch-made Sicilian sauce that lets the flavor of the tomatoes shine through," Joe Sanfratello Jr., son of the pizzeria founder, told the Chicago Tribune in an email.

According to the company's website, In 1969 Joseph Sanfratello Sr. opened the original Sanfratello’s Pizzeria on Main Street Glenwood on Chicago’s south side.

"He converted a modest single family home into a warm and welcoming place that treated everyone like family and served pizza made with love. The Sanfratello family has been living up to their father’s founding values for over four decades – across the Midwest and beyond," the website said.
