New Pizza Restaurant Opening in Naperville

First 52 customers through the door will receive free pizza.

MOD Pizza, a Seattle-based chain restaurant will open its doors to Naperville customers at noon Wednesday, May 13 at its 2835 Showplace Drive location.

According to MOD Pizza’s Facebook page, the first 52 customers through the door will receive free pizza. There will also be a drawing for a year’s worth of free pizza. A retro photo booth will be available, too.

All of the proceeds from Wednesday’s pizza sales will be donated to the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois.

MOD Pizza allows customers to modify their pizza in any way (hence the name), but keep the same price. It was an idea that came out of the difficult times brought on by 2008’s financial crisis.
