New York Man Sent to Prison for Role in Naperville Apple Store Fraud Case
The man allegedly had 16 counterfeit licenses on him, as well as four stolen credit cards.

A New York man charged in connection with two other men trying to use phony identification to obtain merchandise from a Naperville Apple store has been sentenced to prison.
The Chicago Tribune reports that Richie D. Bengochea, 26, of the 200 block of McKinley Avenue in Brooklyn, N.Y., had 16 counterfeit driver’s licenses and four stolen credit cards at the time of his arrest.

Bengochea pleaded guilty Wednesday to an amended felony charge of possession of a fraudulent ID card. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison and was given credit for 111 days served.
Bengochea was arrested May 21 along with two other people, Brandon R. Alvarez, 23, and Pedro Bonilla, 34. Both men were from New York.

Police say Bengochea waited in a car while Bonilla and Alvarez attempted to buy phones with fake identification.
