No Injuries After House Fire On 77th Street In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Fire Department responded to a blaze in the 1800 block of 77th Street Sunday. There were no injuries in the fire, which was spotted coming from the chimney of the house.

Fire officials say they were able to put out the flames within six minutes. They then stayed on the scene to do salvage and overhaul operations on the property.

It was determined that the cause of the fire was accidental. Fire officials believe outside vegetation that was burning ended up extending to the home and causing the fire.
