Park District Summer Entertainment Update
Children's Lunch Hour Entertainment Show Added for July 27 with Time Change; Concerts in Your Park and A Night at the Movies continue

Children’s Lunch Hour Entertainment, presented by Living Well Dental Group, provides fun, interactive midday shows for kids and their families on Tuesdays. The June 29 performance by Miss Jamie from the Farm was rained out, but has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 27 at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion. Please note that this concert will begin at 1:30 p.m., as Miss Jamie was not available at the usual performance time of 11:30 a.m.
Event locations alternate between the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, located west of Centennial Beach at 912 Sindt Court, and the 95th Street Community Plaza at Frontier Sports Complex, located at 3109 Cedar Glade Drive. The remaining 2021 Children’s Lunch Hour performances are as follows:
- July 13 – Scribble Monster at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion at 11:30 a.m.
- July 20 – Jodi Koplin at 95th Street Community Plaza at 11:30 a.m.
- July 27 – Miss Jamie from the Farm at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion at a special time of 1:30 p.m.

A Night at the Movies returns with a series of family-friendly movies to enjoy on warm summer evenings under the stars. Please note the time changes in August and September due to the earlier sunsets. The schedule is as follows:
- Friday, July 23 at 8:30 p.m. –“The Croods: A New Age” at Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave.
- Friday, July 30 at 8:30 p.m.–“The Goonies” at 95th Street Community Plaza, 3109 Cedar Glade Dr.
- Friday, August 27 at 7:45 p.m. –“Wall-E” at Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave.
- Friday, September 3 at 7:30 p.m. –Moana at 95th Street Community Plaza, 3109 Cedar Glade Dr.
- Friday, September 17 at 7:15 p.m. – Tom & Jerry at Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave.
Midday Spray—a free event featuring a sprinkler that gives off a refreshing mist—resumes the week of July 12-16 at Rotary Hill on weekdays from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., weather permitting. This event will continue each week through August 27, except for the week of August 2-6.
