“Pennies for Pies” Drive to Benefit Loaves & Fishes

Naperville Park District invites donations from the community Nov. 1-17

The Naperville Park District will hold its 11th annual “Pennies for Pies” drive from November 1-17 to help provide pumpkin pies for holiday meals through Naperville’s Loaves & Fishes Community Services .

Residents and guests visiting Park District facilities are encouraged to donate small change (or make larger donations) that will be used to purchase pumpkin pies to benefit Loaves & Fishes’ Thanksgiving dinner initiative for residents in need. Donations will be accepted at the following locations:

  • Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Dr. (Open M-F: 5:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., Sat.: 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Sun.: 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.)
  • 95th Street Center, 2244 West 95th Street, 2nd floor (Open M-F: 8:30a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
  • Knoch Knolls Nature Center, 320 Knoch Knolls Rd. (Open M-F: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Sat.: 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Sun.: 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.)

“We appreciate the generosity of our community and the Naperville Park District’s ‘Pennies for Pies’ tradition, and we look forward to presenting these pumpkin pies to our clients as part of our holiday meal program, which helps bring families together during the holidays,” said Loaves & Fishes CEO Mike Havala.
