The Aurora Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.
Aurora police have released surveillance photos of three men wanted in the armed robbery of an AT&T store in the 2300 block of North Farnsworth Avenue.
At around 8:05 p.m., Aug. 14, two of the men, at least one of whom was armed, approached a 33-year-old woman and 22-year-old man who were working in the store, according to a release from the police. They proceeded to announce the robbery, and led the victims to a backroom where they were joined by a third man. They then gained a key to a room where new merchandise is kept and helped themselves to about $33,000 worth of phones, iPads, tablets and other merchandise. The three made off in what appeared to be a champagne or gold-colored Chevrolet Blazer. They may have also had a second vehicle which appeared to be an older, red, two-door Honda Civic with aftermarket headlights and the rear window painted black with a white cross or emblem on it.
The robbers are all black males, the release stated. The two who originally entered the store are 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches, respectively. The shorter of the pair appeared to be 18 to 23, had long, black hair, a tattoo in the left center of his neck and sported studded earrings. He was wearing a white shirt, dark pants and a beige floppy hat. The taller man was described as being in his early 20s and wore a black t-shirt, light-colored jeans, and a black hat.
