Naperville Police Looking for Man Involved in Assault, Robbery
The incident occurred in August 2015.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man believed to be involved with an assault and robbery.
According to the Naperville Police Department, the incident occurred at 8 a.m. August 10, 2015, in the area of Bailey Road and Shepard Drive.

Police say the victim was rear-ended by a black four-door Ford Focus. Two men exited the vehicle and physically assaulted and robbed the victim of a large amount of cash.
The men then fled the scene and attempted to elude police, which ended in a car crash at Aurora Avenue and Thornapple Drive, according to police. Both men exited the vehicle on foot. One of the men was apprehended several minutes later in the area, but the other man was not caught.

The second man has been described as being white, thin and between 5’11’’ and 6 feet tall. He is either bald or has very short hair.
Police say the man may have stayed in the area for several hours after the incident and may have returned later to look for discarded items.
