Pop-Up LEGO Exhibit Now Open At DuPage Children's Museum
Kids can craft large LEGO creations on the museum's floors and walls to learn about science and art.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The possibilities are limitless once kids get their hands on the LEGO and Duplo blocks that are part of a new exhibit at DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville. The Build It Small, Build It Tall pop-up exhibit lets kids get hands-on as they build and play with colorful blocks, props, and a giant wall that the blocks click right into.
Thomas Sullivan, DuPage Children's Museum's Director of Education and Programs, said in a press release that the exhibit works well with the museum's mission. "LEGOs are wildly open-ended, which makes them a perfect fit with DCM’s learning framework that focuses on open-ended, hands-on experiences," Sullivan said.
With a large assortment of LEGO and Duplo blocks at their disposal, kids can make friends with other children at the exhibit's free-building stations to craft cities, towns, towers, mountains, and much more. Other stations will offer specific challenges that are geared toward using scientific thinking to accomplish a goal.
