Pro Female Wrestlers Set To Grapple In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville, the city of pristine riverwalks, eclectic storefronts, and farm-to-table restaurants will soon host what's billed as one of the wrestling industries biggest female cards. Female wrestling promoters RISE and Impact have joined forces to bring a live wrestling match on July 7 and then several taped episodes to the city.

The July 7 event will kick off at 12 p.m. at the Illinois Basketball Academy, 460 Industrial Dr., Naperville. The day's matches will also be broadcast as part of an ongoing Twitch series called RISE of the knockouts.

The July 7 RISE-Ascent roster includes:

• Saraya Knight challenging Su Young for the title
• Kikyo facing Madison Rain
• Mercedes Martinez wrestling Allie
• Theresa Blanchard taking on Kris Wolf

Tickets to the July 7 RISE-Ascent women's wresting matches and the July 8 tapings range from $20 to $50 depending on seating.
