Probation Officer Sent Nude Photos, Requested Sex: Lombard Cops

LOMBARD, IL — A probation officer from Naperville has been charged with sexual misconduct after he allegedly sent nude photos to and requested oral sex from a female probationer. Christian Nunez, 32, of the 1600 block of Westminster, is currently being held on $100,000 bond at DuPage County Jail in connection with the incident.

According to court records, Nunez worked as the victim's probation officer starting in May 2017. Nunez allegedly used his personal cellphone to send nude photos to the victim and to request nude photos sin return.

The accusations further allege that Nunez went to the victim's home on March 11 and requested oral sex from her. Police say the woman had previously reported the alleged behavior to Lombard Police Department, sparking a lengthy investigation.

DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said of the charges, "The allegations that a government official, who obviously held a position of authority over his victim, would use that position to satisfy his sexual desires is revolting."

Nunez is set to appear in court again on June 11.
